Professional Truck Driving Program Overview
The Professional Truck Driving Program at Delta Tech offers training that takes students behind-the-wheel, onto the driving range, over-the-road training, and into the classroom, preparing students for the state licensing exam and entry-level employment.
The truck driving classes students will be attending in the Professional Truck Driving Program are taught by instructors with real world experience, and will include comprehension of the state’s CDL standards, driver safety, air brakes, combination vehicles, log books, trip planning, employee and customer service relationships. Classroom training will be limited, because the Professional Truck Driving Program at Delta Tech aims to be a hands-on, interactive program teaching skills that can be applied and retained in the real world.
