High School Welding Competition
2026 Results
DTC hosted our annual High School Welding Competitions at our Horn Lake & Ridgeland, MS campuses.
Over 140 high school welders from the Memphis and Jackson areas showed up ready to compete and put their skills to the test.
From first sparks to final welds, the focus, energy, and determination were on full display throughout the competition.
And the best part? We awarded a total of $59,500 in DTC scholarships to help these high schoolers take the next step toward their future.
At DTC, our Welding Programs provide hands-on training in real shop environments, helping students build the skills, confidence, and experience needed to succeed in the skilled trades.
This annual competition is open to high school seniors of ALL skill levels, because everyone starts somewhere.
