Ridgeland Competition Highlights

  • 63 total participants
  • 12 high schools represented: Career Development Center, Forest Scott County Career and Technology Center, Forest Hill High School, Callaway High School, Murrah High School, Provine High School, Lake High School, Northwest Rankin High School, JZ George High School, Morton High School, Pearl High School, and Jefferson County High School
  • $26,500 total awarded in DTC scholarships

Top 3

  1. First Place: Jerry Catchings of Career Development Center – Jackson; awarded a $5,000 scholarship. Career Development Center – Jackson will also receive a $1,000 donation from DTC.
  2. Second Place: Cortez Howard of Career Development Center – Jackson; awarded a $2,500 scholarship.
  3. Third Place: Devan Pitts of Forest Scott County Career and Technology Center; awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

  1. First Place: Ayden Towns of Millington High School; awarded a $5,000 scholarship. Millington High School will also receive a $1,000 donation from DTC.

  3. Third Place: Dakendrick Madkins of Job Corps; awarded a $1,000 scholarship.

2027 Competition Dates to Be Announced

All seniors who compete receive a $500 scholarship to DTC.

Competition is open to all high school juniors & seniors across the Memphis and Jackson areas.
