Delta Technical College (DTC) is excited to announce we are now offering a $2,000 Alumni Scholarship for any DTC graduate wanting to continue their education in one of the following programs:
- Medical Assisting
- Dental Assisting
- Medical Coding Specialist
- HVAC/R Technician
- Welding
- Welding & Pipefitting
- Industrial, Commercial & Residential (I/C/R) Electrician
The DTC Alumni Scholarship can be used toward any of the above listed programs at any DTC campus location*, including Horn Lake MS and Ridgeland, MS.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Successfully graduated any DTC program or course from one of the following campus locations: Horn Lake MS; Ridgeland, MS.
- Have $0 in remaining balances to DTC and/or our Tuitions Options loan servicer (or pay all balances in full prior to starting).
- Participate in a personal interview with an authorized representative of DTC.
- Meet admissions requirements which include high school diploma, recognized equivalency certificate, or documentation of home school completion; and a valid driver’s license, state issued ID or passport.
- Enroll on or after April 4, 2022, for any of the following DTC programs: Medical Assisting, Dental Assisting, Medical Coding Specialist, Medical Coding Specialist - Hybrid, Massage Therapy, HVAC/R Technician, Welding, Welding & Pipefitting, or I/C/R Electrician programs at one of the following campus locations: Horn Lake, MS; Ridgeland, MS.
The goal of this scholarship is to offer DTC alumni an opportunity to pursue a new career path in the skilled trades industry, or to continue their education within allied health or mechanical trades.
Criteria and Stipulations:
- Scholarship will be awarded once the student completes the first payment period of the program.
- The $2,000 scholarship includes the $100 registration fee waiver.
- DTC reserves the right to discontinue this scholarship offer at any time.
- All awarded scholarships will be honored, even if the program is discontinued.
