The DTC High School Scholarship Program is designed to help high school seniors lower the cost of their trade school training at DTC and start a career in the skilled trades!

    • Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length.
      • Available for the Welding Program and Welding & Pipefitting Program.
  • The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI)
    • The Reese Scholarship Foundation was established to assist with the recruitment and competency of future HVACR technicians by awarding scholarships to qualified students who are enrolled in an institutionally accredited school.
      • Available for the HVAC/R Technician Program only.
  • Mike Rowe Works Foundation
    • The Work Ethic Scholarship Program recognizes people who understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude.
      • Available for the Professional Truck Driving Program, HVAC/R Technician Program, Welding Program, I/C/R Electrician Program, and Welding & Pipefitting Program only.
  • American Trucks Student Scholarships
    • The American Trucks Student Scholarship is available to students pursuing a career in the traditional building trades.
      • Available for the HVAC/R Technician Program, Welding Program, Welding & Pipefitting Program, and I/C/R Electrician Program only.
  • TC Energy Build Strong Scholarship
    • The TC Energy Trades Scholarship is available to support students who are enrolled in a qualifying trades program at a registered education institute.
      • Available for the HVAC/R Technician Program, Welding Program, Welding & Pipefitting Program, and I/C/R Electrician Program only.
  • Jon Denzer Bear Hug Foundation Path to Good Scholarship Awards Program
    • The Path to Good Scholarship is for high school students and young adults interested in pursuing certificate/ technical educational or vocational skills in the trades who are willing to work hard and commit to a self-supporting career path.
  • CECU’s Pathways to Careers Scholarship
    • CECU launched the Pathways to Careers (PTC) Scholarship to benefit students pursuing careers in some of the most essential workforce fields. These scholarships will expand opportunities for students enrolled at participating campuses that are uniquely qualified to train students in these high-demand fields.

  • High school students: Check out the Guidance Counselor information on your school’s website. Most contain lists of available scholarships for seniors.
