  • SITES COVERED BY THIS POLICY. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”), applies to all websites and domains owned by Delta Technical College, Inc. (“DeltaTech”), except that a privacy policy posted on an DeltaTech website specific to that website will apply instead of this Policy.
  • STATEMENT OF PURPOSE. DeltaTech understands the importance of protecting its customers’ personal information. This Policy explains how DeltaTech uses and secures the information it collects from its websites. This Policy may change over time and will be effective when posted. Your continued use of any DeltaTech websites following the posting of any amendment, modification, or change shall constitute your acceptance thereof.
  • COLLECTION OF INFORMATION. You may be asked to voluntarily provide your name, address, phone number, email address or other personally identifiable information to have access to some feature of an DeltaTech website. You may always refuse to provide such personal identifiable information, and this may lead to DeltaTech’s inability to provide you with certain offerings, services or products.   • USE OF INFORMATION. DeltaTech does not sell or rent any personal data you have provided to it to any third parties. DeltaTech respects the privacy of the users visiting its sites. DeltaTech may certain directory information that it has collected to send you information about its products and services, or updates and other information that it thinks may be of interest to you; and it may share this information with its educational subsidiaries to bring similar information to your attention. Other than directory information, data you provide to DeltaTech as you use its websites will be held in confidence by it and will be used for internal purposes only. DeltaTech may share aggregate information about its users with advertisers, business partners, sponsors and other third parties. However, the individual information you provide DeltaTech within the DeltaTech websites will be known only to you and DeltaTech. DeltaTech will not share your personal data with anyone else, except as may be required by law.

  • PRIVACY OF CHILDREN. DeltaTech encourages parents and guardians to be aware of and participate in their children’s online activities. We strictly adhere to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act and will not knowingly collect, use or disclose personal information from any child under the age of 13 in any manner that violates this law.
  • PHISHING SCAMS. It is a policy of DeltaTech to not send unsolicited emails seeking certain highly sensitive personal information, such as social security number, date of birth or credit card number. In the event you receive such an email, and you have not previously been in direct contact with its sender, please do not respond and do not open any attachments as they may contain malicious code that will infect your computer.
  • SECURITY. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, DeltaTech has put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial safeguards to secure the information it collects online. DeltaTech websites maintain industry standard security measures to protect the loss, misuses and alteration of the information under its control.
