Those interested in attending Delta Technical College should follow the steps listed below to begin the admissions process. DTC admissions representatives will guide prospective students through the admissions process from start to finish and will be available to answer questions or concerns at any point throughout the process.

Step 1

Select a campus and complete an Online Request Form to have an admissions representative contact you directly. Those interested in attending can also call DTC’s admissions office for more information or to schedule a campus tour.

Step 2

The entrance exam usually lasts about 20 minutes to complete and tests an applicant’s knowledge and proficiency in several subject areas, including basic math and English. There is no time restriction to complete the exam. Admission to the Journeyman Welder Program does not require an entrance exam.

Step 3

Schedule a meeting with a financial aid representative. Applicants should bring the following documents with them when meeting with a financial aid representative: 
  • Copy of High School Diploma/GED (if you have received one).
  • Driver's License or Identification Card.
  • Copy of your (prospective student) W-2 and Federal Tax Forms. (if applicable)
  • Copy of Parent/Guardian Signed W-2 and Federal Tax Forms. (if applicable)
