This program consists of three 12-week terms, 34 weeks of training and 2 weeks of Certification review and EPA exam preparation, for a total of 36 semester hours.

In order to recieve a Diploma in Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) the students must complete the following:

● EPA core, sections one and two
● 40% score on the Industry Competency Exam
● 2.0 GPA or better
● Attendance of 85% or grade point average of 2.0 (C) or better,
● ICE score of at least 40
● Pass the EPA Core Section
● Pass the Type II Section of EPA Exam

Students are expected to pursue the complete curriculum in the sequence offered.

The HVACR program is designed for persons with or without previous training or experience in any of the climate control disciplines. The objective of the program is to provide the student with at least the minimum of entry-level skills with which he or she can obtain employment in the climate control industry.
