400 hours/20 Weeks/20 Clock Hours

 

The Nail Technician Program is a 400 hour course.  This is a continuing education program.  Taught by licensed cosmetologists, students will learn the latest techniques and the most up-to-date procedures in nail care.  Students will create elegant and professionally finished nails.  The Nail Technician Program is a way that students can help others look their best.  After graduating from the program, students will be prepared to start up their own business or pursue entry-level positions in a wide range of exciting settings, including salons, spas, resorts, and cruise ships.

 

Nail Technician Program Schedule

Tuesday-Friday 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

 

12:00 p.m.-1:45 p.m.  Theory/Classroom
1:45 p.m.-1:55 p.m.  Break
1:55 p.m.-4:50 p.m.  Practical/Lab/Clinic

This course is offered as continuing education/professional development course only.  Students completing this courses will not receive any credit which can be used toward other certificate or degree programs offered by DTC.  The course, while it may be a dissected piece of the curriculum, is not reviewed by the ACCSC as full courses are.
